Assessment of the environmental sustainability practices of nigerian banks: focus on clean technology adoption

There is no doubt that the Nigerian banking industry visible in global sustainable radar and this traceable to its embrace of international trends practices. However, given a number factors, uptake clean technology as means attaining environmental sustainability remains challenging. Relying on survey method content analysis secondary data study assessed three adoption issues – propensity, intensity, staff awareness among two strategic groups industry. The findings showed propensity for level differ significantly between national banks. But variation them terms intensity was not significant. One policy implications key regulatory (policy) framework, Sustainable Banking Principles needs be strengthened area e-waste adoption.
